Your team:
As part of the Contract Lifecycle team at Open-Xchange, you will support the end-to-end customer lifecycle. The team works closely with Legal, Sales/Account Management and Finance to ensure accurate contract management, compliant invoicing, and transparent financial processes across customers and internal entities. Your role contributes directly to reliable operations and financial integrity within the OX group.
Your new job:
- Manage customer and contract master data in our billing systems and ensure data accuracy throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Prepare, review and file contracts, offers, and purchase orders in line with our standard templates and processes
- Create, send and track customer invoices, including license and support key deliveries, based on contractual terms and delivered services.
- Monitor outstanding balances and handle payment reminders and default interest in coordination with internal teams.
- Support reporting, audits and financial compliance activities, including intercompany invoicing within the OX group.
Your background:
- Degree in Business Studies, commercial education, or a professional background in accounting or finance.
- Relevant professional experience in invoicing, accounting, or commercial operations, ideally within a software billing environment.
- Interest in template and contract management; initial experience is a plus.
- Strong ability to keep an overview across multiple systems and processes; comfortable working with ERP or billing tools (e.g. Vemas) and other digitalization tools.
- High motivation to take ownership and confidence working with multiple internal stakeholders such as Sales, Legal, Finance and Compliance.
- Structured, reliable working style with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication and comprehension skills in English and German.

As part of the cross-functional OX Public Sector team, you will help develop secure email solutions that strengthen digital sovereignty in Germany. As a Java Developer, you will enhance the encryption framework of OX App Suite, including PGP, S/MIME, and end-to-end encryption (E2EE). You will work closely with product, security, and UI colleagues to deliver a robust and user-friendly encryption experience.

As part of the cross-functional OX Public Sector team, you will support customers in designing, deploying, and operating secure collaboration and communication platforms in Kubernetes-based Linux environments. You'll be part of our cross-functional Dovecot Cloud team with primary focus on developing and delivering Dovecot Pro software for Cloud based deployments, with a strong SRE and Kubernetes-native approach at the core of how we operate. - Design, development, and maintenance of Dovecot infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm, with a key contribution to the transition toward a fully Kubernetes-native infrastructure.
- Application of SRE principles to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of Dovecot in production, including definition of SLOs, reduction of operational toil, and development of self-healing systems.
- Improvement of CI/CD pipelines and streamlining of Kubernetes-native deployments, including Helm chart development and lifecycle management.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of system performance, including regular maintenance, updates, and incident response for production environments.
- Close collaboration with development teams to enhance software reliability and system design, combined with continuous knowledge sharing and staying up to date with cloud-native technologies.
- Participation in an on-call rotation to support production systems.

- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes including bare-metal or self-managed cluster operations, workload design, and Helm chart development in production environments.
- Comfort working with and administering Linux systems, including networking concepts such as routing, firewalling, DNS, and network performance troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in scripting to automate daily tasks.
- Solid experience writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and managing Kubernetes resources in a production environment.

- Support our M&A experts in identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities.
- Create business cases and analyze potential acquisition targets.
- Contribute to our M&A strategy and help expand our email business.
- Assist the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) / Controlling team with monthly reporting and ad hoc financial analyses.
Your background:
- Final-stage Bachelor’s student or currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Finance & Controlling fundamentals (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Interest in technology and SaaS business models; prior exposure to KPIs and valuation methods is a plus.
