The IMAP Server

The IMAP Server is the incoming mail server of Open-Xchange. As the administrator, you have the power to decide how big (in megabytes) each user's mailbox will be using the IMAP Quota input field. Set the mailbox size for new users or use the default Open-Xchange has provided, and increase or decrease that number on an individual basis.

Using the GUI interface, the administrator can configure the mail folders for a user by simply selecting from a set of predefined labels in the Open-Xchange IMAP Folder Template. Additional styles can be added at any time by editing the IMAp configuration file.

The SMTP Server

The outgoing Mail Server of Open-Xchange boasts an interface that is both easy to set up and easy to use. No need to manually configure any of the files - they are all structured accordingly, easily accessible, and once activated, increadibly smooth.
