Out of box version

I dont know if anyone is interrested in this
I put together a CD with Open-exchange 0.8.6-5 and more, based on Centos 4.4
When installing the CD, all required software is installed, all that is needed after Os install is to run a config script, that make if fit your enviroment

Dependig on the speed on your CDrom the installation should take no more than 30 minutts

It install the following:
Open-Exchange 0.8.6-5
Samba PDC
A PDF printer
Wildfire, a jabber server (for chating )
Avaadm
Jetti, (jabber webclient)
Squid
Nameserver ( needed when join machins to domain)
Smartsive and websive
Antivirus
Syncml ( but i havent got it to work with any of my clients )

Since it could be so difficult to install, I put this together CD, and I guess other allso would have so use for it

The iso image is ready, if someone is interrested then I could make it avilable

The size of Iso file less than 700 Mb, i stripped down the OS as much as I could to get space to the dependcies

I written a install guide in norwegian, if there is interrest i could translate it to english

Well, i'd like to take a loot at it. I also have some Terabytes traffic spare on my servers to distribute it

It's aviable now, you could find it here http://ntx.waerdahl.net

Start installing it as a ordinary Linux distro, when finished, login.
The install script /home/ox/bin/install-ox.sh will look for a variable.txt file just copy the example file with your modifications.

Beaware of that you need to enter the passord for postgresql 5 or 6 times during installation, for the openexchange,wildfire and syncml database

When the install script complets, you need to populate the samba ldap, just type smbldap-populate, then enter the root password.

Start create user with the script NTX-adduser.sh

The installation log file is located here /root/NTX-install.log

There is link to most common config files in the /usr/local/ox/konfig/ directory

I discovered that something proberly went wrong while transfer the iso image to ntx.waerdahl.net so I transfered a new one.
So if you discovered some problem with the first iso image, download the new one

tronn im very intereting in a english or german guide. My girlfriend is actually learning swedish but its not so good that she can translate for norwegian
